Hendrix-Murphy Editorial Internship

The Oxford American offers a comprehensive editorial internship program for students from Hendrix College. The OA is grateful to Hendrix College and the Hendrix-Murphy Foundation Programs in Literature and Language for its generous support and dedication to the literary community of Arkansas.

Interns are a vital part of the Oxford American’s print and digital production teams. The duties of an intern include fact-checking and proofreading stories, evaluating manuscript submissions, and participating in the planning of issues. Hendrix-Murphy interns work about 10 hours a week and are expected to report to the OA's offices on the campus of UCA for part of those hours. Interns are encouraged to participate in our off-site concerts and readings.
